Dale, you dont have the kernel source, if you would like these 
directories to compile a kernel you need to get the ssys.* files from the 
2.1.0 release.  Then read the directions on www.freebsd.org on what to do 
with them, the short of it is cat ssys.* > ssys.tgz, and then tar -zxvf 
ssys.tgz! there you have it.
