I've been reading through the message archive, and tried several suggestions on how to get it working, but nothing seems to work. I may be overlooking something very simple. Would you mind letting me know if I am? I currently have Moz2_0.car in /usr/local/netscape/java/classes, which is what the Netscape INSTALL file said to do. I have also placed a copy in $HOME/.netscape I have tried defining the CLASSPATH environment variable to point to /usr/local/netscape/java/classes, /usr/local/netscape/java, and /usr/local/netscape/java/classes/Moz2_0.car. There was even a message about a Moz2_0.zip, which I tried placing in $HOME/.netscape Netscape runs just fine, but when I access a page, with applets, such as http://java.sun.com, Netscape crashes, with no error messages generated at all, to help point the way. Am I missing something? Or does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love to get started on coding...
