I hope so.  From my point of view, the BOF at the last Usenix I was at (Boston)
represented something of a high point for NetBSD -- there were tons of people
there, everyone was asking questions, and I went away with the impression that
NetBSD was a busy, productive project, and that the BOF had helped attract a lot
of attention.  That's just MNSHO, but it's how I felt at the time.

Whether someone cancels and we can get a vendor booth or not, it would be really
cool if even just at the BOF, we could have a table with a big long row of
machines of different types, all running NetBSD.  If we started a gentle
whispering campaign about it the first few days, we might get a lot of notice,
which I think everyone will agree NetBSD desperately needs right about now.

I will bring a substantial i386 box, and I *might* have a Mac I could lend;
I don't know what kind it is (was my sister's) and it's in a box in my folks'
basement.  I can ship my pmax out but we'll have to get NetBSD onto it somehow.

It would be really, really cool to have an Alpha, but I bet that's the hard one.
Does anyone working on the Alpha port actually own an Alpha machine?

I can probably scrape up a Sun 3; if we're willing to use a beat old Sparc 1,
we can get one used for almost nothing.

Does anyone else think this is a cool idea?  Would anyone be willing to help
me arrange this?
