Subject: green vs pthreads

Do you know why Randy Chapman switched from pthreads to green threads
in his linux java port? I'm trying to port Java to my FreeBSD box and
this is so confusing. That plus that Randy won't give out his latest
diffs. So I need some consul. What do you think of the green vs
pthreads issue?
