Fifteen years ago, President Carter pointed out that energy conservation must be treated as a religion. Not much was said about energy in your review of Al Gore's Earth in the Balance, an excellent book that deserves to be a best-seller. Especially so when we consider that its author is neither a scientist nor a theologian.
