The latter film was declared ineligible by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences because it appeared on Swedish television as a series before being released as a feature film in other countries. "Anglagard" is about a city girl who inherits a manor house in a traditional Swedish village. It was directed by Colin Nutley, an Englishman who has made several films in Sweden.
