You must see it. As you know, on May 4, 1891, the great detective, after spending a night at the Englischer Hof in Meiringen, was overtaken on the narrow path overlooking the Reichenbach Falls by his archenemy Professor Moriarty and in the course of a violent struggle they both plunged into an abyss. One hundred years later, the Sherlock Holmes Museum was officially opened in Meiringen by the Sherlock Holmes Society of London and the Swiss National Tourist Office. DICK M.
