Mayor Sharon Pratt Kelly did not sign D.C. Council legislation in
the spring authorizing government furloughs, as reported yester-
day. She chose to let the furlough plan become law without her
signature.<

The meeting date of the Columbia Heights Neighborhood Coalition
was listed incorrectly in last Thursday's District Weekly. The
meeting is at 7 p.m. today at All Souls Church, 16th and Harvard
streets NW.<

CLARIFICATION< Civic activist Yvonne Moore's personal position on
the death penalty initiative in the District was unclear in an
