SELES, GRAF ADVANCE:
   Rain is forecast Tuesday at Wimbledon, but the women's draw is 
anything but cloudy as No. 1 Monica Seles and defending champ 
Steffi Graf are on a collision course for Saturday's final. Seles 
plays Nathalie Tauziat and Graf plays Natalia Zvereva in Tuesday's 
quarterfinals. Also in the final eight: Gabriela Sabatini vs. 
Jennifer Capriati and Martina Navratilova vs. Katerina Maleeva.
    
MCENROE MAKES QUARTERFINALS:
   On the men's side at Wimbledon, John McEnroe joined defending 
champion Michael Stich and No. 2 Stefan Edberg in the 
quarterfinals with wins Monday, but Boris Becker must win a fifth 
set Tuesday against Wayne Ferreira in order to stay in contention 
for a fourth title. McEnroe's next opponent is No. 9 Guy Forget, 
who ended the headline-grabbing run of Great Britain's Jeremy 
Bates.
    
CHARLOTTE FUNDS MAY BE LOW:
   Charlotte city council members support the effort to bring an 
NFL expansion team to their city, but are warning promoters not to 
count on city money to help build a stadium. The $35 million in 
taxpayer money for the stadium is more than enough, they said 
Monday. Promoters said they plan to privately fund the stadium, 
but it puts them at a disadvantage compared to other expansion 
sites.
    
DREAM TEAM WINS AGAIN, EASILY:
   The Dream Team scored another rout. After blasting Cuba in 
Sunday's opener of the Tournament of the Americas, the U.S. men's 
basketball team came back Monday to trounce Canada 105-61. Charles 
Barkley led the USA with 19 points in the Olympic qualifier 
tournament. USA (2-0) plays Panama (1-1) Tuesday. The top four 
teams in the tournament qualify for the Barcelona Olympics.
