The IAAF lengthened the suspension for the world recordholder at 400 meters under a rule that provides for loss of eligibility by any athlete who acts in a way to insult or disrepute the sport. RYPIEN MAY STAY HOME: Quarterback Mark Rypien, apparently unmoved by Washington's offer of $12 million over four years, may not join the Redskins when they leave Tuesday for a preseason game in London. Rypien's chances of playing in Canada dropped Monday. Toronto Argonauts owner Bruce McNall deemed it "unlikely any agreement with Mark Rypien will be reached with the Argonauts for this CFL season." MAGIC WEIGHS OPTIONS: Magic Johnson said Monday he feels healthy after helping the USA win a gold medal at the Olympics but that he and his wife, Cookie, have yet to decide if he'll return to the Los Angeles Lakers. "My wife and I are going to sit down and we're going to talk about it and see. It all depends on if I feel like coming back. That's all," he said on the "Arsenio Hall Show."
