ABC plans to market "regional games" to viewers getting commercial telecasts of a national game, or a different regional game. The network will offer 12 pay-per-view telecasts, probably at $9.95 each. ABC's potential audience is 25,000 to 50,000 homes weekly. DALY TO RESIGN: Chuck Daly, who coached the Detroit Pistons for nine seasons and guided them to back-to-back NBA titles, will announce his resignation at a news conference Tuesday, reports USA TODAY columnist Peter Vescey.
