		TREASURER'S REPORT

	month-to-date student spending: 3689.62

41.42% of this SIPB spending is storage, so:

	DELETE YOUR UNNEEDED FILES!!	

Also, Pat spent close to $200 on tymnet last month, he should spend less.

		CHAIRMAN'S REPORT

Straight from sunny Cal, the modems from the W20 arrived; can't elect people
over the weekend; etc.

                    ATHENA REPORT

New scheme for distribting usr unsupported sipb, which is every day 5AM.
There was an article in site/sipb/mss.  Read this and make corrections.  We
will let this out soon.  Also, one part isn't written yet.  If anybody cares,
x is modified to work in sun workstations.  "Anything more?" Nope, that's all
from simson.

		OFFICE REPORT

Carla has a motion to make...  She nominates Meilin to be acting summer
secretary.  We voted yes, "Hurray" -carla.

                    SOCIAL COMMITTEE REPORT

There's a new coke-com sheet, pay so we can get coke for R/O.  Carla sent mail
to sipb@mc to remind people to pay for shirts, cups, etc.

		COMPUTER SERVICES

A girl came in to use the Mac twice.  Someone wanted to know about some
Mac-68K developement system.  Commodore has come out with AMIGA computer,
reviewed in the August '85 issue of Byte magazine. Marvelous computer, costs
only $1295 and has color -- We've got to purchase the monitor, though.
Simsong thinks we should buy it.

Amy printed out NETS today.  Noone read the TECH today.

		TELECOMMUNICATIONS REPORT

Umm, Friday, the guy from telecom called re: Multics lines, he was supposed to
come today and he didn't.

		R/O REPORT

Meilin motions that we don't go to W91 on the R/O tour.  Carla seconds.
Unanimous, no wait!!! Henry says "no", now he says, "corn on the cob"...

Leo cleaned terminals last night.

Last night was Andy's birthday.  He sat outside of Woburn Mall for two hours
to celebrate.  He is twenty now; not a teenager.

Simsong flew out to Cal a while ago.  (Boy are his arms tired) IBM was not
there.  Dec was and was showing x windows.  RF and simson were making the
salesman uncomfortable because they knew more than he did.  He announces a CHI
'86 (Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems). April 13 - 17 in
Boston. He says everybody should attend.

(This is actually the first occurance of the meeting) Simson chalenges the
vice chairman and his power to call the meeting to order.
