Officer Report

jhamrick:
Wings and duncant are organising computer tours and stories.
Maybe cluedumps, I don't know.

gdb and I want to have a massive hackathon on the first or second week
of term, we're not sure yet.

afarrell: Called Admiral Hackbar?
jhamrick: The name is unconfirmed.

mats_a: 
Suggestion: We should make the goal of it to get people jump-started into
projects, but also we should have shiny displays set up.


Project Report
==============

afarrell: IAP is sooner than you think! 
I'm planning on running classes again but hoping to get an apprentice to
help poke people and stuff. This is a good prospective project!

jhamrick: debathena, the Lucid release is supposed to be at the end of
August. We are pushing and not sure if it's going to happen.

broglek: We had a hackathon Saturday.
It was small and cute and nameless. We squashed a lot of little bugs off the trac.
Most notably, gutenbach-remctl uses now uses default values provided by debconf.

mats: There also gutenbach-auto if you want announcements...

jhamrick:
gutenbach@mit.edu no longer gets messages via email from the trac.
If you are on gutenbach-dev or on gutenbach-auto, you will get commit messages.
These lists are not public so you should talk to someone to get on them.

quentin: I hear a rumour that xvm will be moving to w91 next week.

He will be moving to California and working for Google.
