Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of 2011-07-04


The meeting was called to order at 19:30:00 by dwilson.

        dwilson: Welcome to the SIPB meeting.

        geofft: The gavel seems to be missing.

        jhawk: I wood-glued the damaged co-processor [abacus], and
                it's back in the office now.

        adehnert: Some guy from the CAC was duct taping holes in our
                chairs.


SIPB Project Updates:
        lizdenys: We had a meeting about Project Waverly
                yesterday. Our first release is going to include a web
                client, the first version of the back end, and an
                API. maria89 and I are starting to write the API
                tomorrow. afarrell and cesium will be taking point on
                the web client. geofft, maria89, and I are taking
                point on the back end. Eventually we want to support
                rich text, remote editors, decentralization, and
                secure sessions.
        adehnert: I'm guessing that was a prepared statement.
        lizdenys: I didn't want to take minutes of it.

        aseering: We're on the dot.

        adehnert: There are lots of people around, shockingly
                enough. Also, there are not that many people at the
                SIPB meeting, also shockingly enough.

        jhawk: Hi Mike! We're in other other; do you have anything 
                for other other?
        mikemp: I've got a frisbee.

        mikemp: mkc is unhappy. Power is off now and then, usually
                related to the heat sink the motherboard. Someone
                should let me know if it acts up. It hasn't acted up
                that badly recently.
