SIPB Projects Report:
phurst: Roost now has CC support; you can test it out at
https://roost-test.mit.edu. I'm not comfortable deploying this to
roost.mit.edu because there are weird bugs involving messages not
showing up; these aren't data loss bugs.
achernya: We could ask IS&T for a SQL virtual machine.

jhawk: Does this imply that there's a problem with SQL?
achernya: Yes, the problem is that SQL has way too many users.
glasgall: We're aware of the issue, and we do plan to do something about
it once we're non-hosed. Sometime within the next year hopefully.
achernya: In the meantime, we can swap the SSDs into the evacuated
Scripts servers. But short of setting up sharding or a ridiculous
financial investment, there's not much that we can do.

glasgall: Scripts is deploying F20; we should be done in the next 2
weeks. We have 2.5 servers spun up now, and it should take less than 2
hours to go from a cloned template to a new server, and it can be
		parallelized.

dzaefn: sipb-door initialization is now almost finished; we're just
working in the bowels of git.
mingy: We don't have all the changes that dove wanted yet, so I'm hoping
we could get all of those done.

Other:
phurst: This is my last SIPB meeting, because I'm flying out to SF on thursday.
        vahle: I can temporarily volunteer.
dove: I'll be gone the last week of August.

andersk: I got two calls from FedEx asking for a package pick up for or
possibly from JJ Sipbadmin at 32 Vassar St. Anybody know what this is
		about?
        [No volunteers.]
jhawk: Did they tell us anything about it?
andersk: They couldn't tell us anything else.
        dove: I believe we're sure it's a drop-off now.

Other Other:
omalley1: I'm reading a book: _Hackers, Heroes of the Computer Revolution_.

glasgall: Linux kernel version 3.16, codenamed Shuffling Zombie Juror,
was released today. Also alpha 2 of Ubuntu 14.10, Utopic Unicorn.

achernya: BoringSSL is better than OpenSSL but that doesn't say much.
dove: We need a plot of the goodness against the number of commits by
		davidben and Adam Langley.

The meeting was adjourned at 19:40.
