=============

glasgall: what is the status of the sipb@mit.edu RT queue thing?

tthoma24: a request was sent to tooltime@mit.edu on Friday, we’re
waiting to hear back. There may be more to hash out than
previously thought. Once we get the queue it’d be nice to cut
                over.

kaduk: The sign on the door was hanging somewhat loosely when I opened
the office today, so I re-taped it, and it appears to be
                somewhat more securely attached.

tthoma24: zsr has been randomly rebooting, so keep an eye on it.

Project Updates
===============

glasgall: scripts would like to apologize for the performance we’ve
been offering the community the past few weeks. we’ve been
having an issue with afs, and other afs folks are working on
this. we hope to have a solution soon, and we hate this as
                much as you do.

        vasilvv: any other project reports?

tthoma24: MacAthena! I made Athena work for Mac! Yay! Or at least,
I’m actively working on this right now.

bennoui: I am the developer support engineer for IS&T, I’m working on
a portal for developers, it’s coming along pretty well. it
should be running by January, along with a Q&A platform we’re
putting out for developers. If you have any feedback, get in
                touch somehow.

dove: csvoss - Chelsea Voss - is the IAP coordinatior. if you’re
interested in teaching an IAP class, get in touch with her.
if you’ve taught in the past, please send her email about
you’d like to teach again. December something - soon - is the
deadline for expressing interest in the class.

sparrow_: Dec 20th is the deadline.

kaduk: there’s a dictionary called webster on Chiron, I am planning to
move webster off of chiron, I have gotten as far as indexing
the thing and encountered errors that ubuntu cannot actually
display. If you are interested in helping, let me know.

tthoma24: csw has been updated to 10.10.

bennoui: Bianca Ortberg is looking for student volunteers to teach CS
classes the week of January 17th.

achernya: we are playing whackamole with AFS.

csvoss: IAP is Very Soon. it is so, so soon! you should sign up to
teach a class. I sent email to sibp-office, it’s going to
                happen, consider teaching something.

csvoss: is there budget for IAP? could I actually caffeinate the

slz: as of today, all of Walter Lewin’s videos are on youtube because
