Like adapter to some sort of screen, say HDMI. $40 should cover it, maybe we'll actually get a thunderbolt port. I've opened a pack mcyoung: Save some for the prefrosh! lucyyang: I'll work on t-shirts when I'm not hosed, they won't be here for CPW. The pens took a while because they're printing resolution is really bad so I changed the design to not have the fuzzball. I'm also making the CPW name signs, which have space for a name and say "Ask me about blank." Email me and I'll make you a sign, give them out at a party. I'll set the date for Wednesday night over spring break at like 7:30 mcyoung: You can allocate for it next Mondayk ignacioe: This is coming a week late but I moved Laptop Land over by a foot or so for a VR space mcyoung: Outlined in glorious silver duct tape! Also, CPW is closer than you think! And closer than I thought. Among other things, for people who were at the machine room tour with achernya we're probably going to do one or two practice rounds either over spring break or the week after that, depending on how that's looking. I'll send out an email to sipb-office once I nail something down. Activities Midway is happening in a couple weeks! We filled in the form but if there's any last-minute changes, it's due this Friday. I had some crazy ideas, like bringing Cortana out and letting the kids play with the Vive. We should have power, we could bring a chair so they won't have to move. Max is gonna be there, might bring down the Kerberos plush. slz: And the poster of course mcyoung: I had some stupid ideas like bringing Nucular Jukebox's TV down. If you have any ideas let me or the CPW chairs know slz: People can also sign up to be at Midway. We can't abandon our booth, and we'll be fined if there's ever not someone there. dzaefn: Does Topy count? mcyoung: Topy isn't real. I'm sorry. Other: khaines: One of my friends is having a computing class for LGBTQ high school students, if you want to volunteer that'd be great, open to everyone who knows something about computers, there will be a couple training sessions. You do not have to be LGBTQ etc but please be mindful and welcoming. By apply I mean email someone, and these are people who haven't had particularly much access to computers. They're high school students, between the ages of 15 and 23. But I mean I love these things I'm definitely going. dzaefn: On the topic of Twitch, apparently I have now become a gamer that other Twitch gamers voluntarily provided commentary on. bpchen: Also Discord is on fire. Going up and down over and over.
