Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of 2020-02-03


The meeting was called to order at 19:30 by emmabat.

In attendance were

Administrivia:

        emmabat: Welcome to the SIPB meeting! Welcome to the semester! 
        
        emmabat: Next week, we will be having the SIPB Executive Committee and Officers Election. We will have this the second monday of new semester, which is next monday.
        
        yczeng: wait, the meeting is today???
        
        mitchb: you're sitting at the meeting.
        
        emmabat: If this is your first time at an EC meeting, we will be electing Chair, then Vice-Chair, Treasurer, then Secretary. There are also 5 members at large.
        
        quentin: Don't forget that you can elect people to member at large in absentia. 
        
        emmabat: That is all the more incentive to show up to the meeting.
        
        emmabat: Keyholdership election will be happening today for jnoguera, and rihn, depending on if she shows up

Project Reports:

        npfoss: Since the last report, courseroad has made progress, Georgia, Amanti and Maryam have made bug fixes
        
        cela: Hyades continues.
        
        wmoses: For SIPBWISP, I meet with some people to discuss safety on top of tang.
        
        jnoguera: uplink proved that we can make changes to our build system.
