Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of 2021-12-27 The meeting was called to order at 19:30 by kjchen. In attendance were         Student keyholders: kjchen, amigdal, cjq, huydai         Associate keyholders: '()         Members: markchil, agrebe, ashay         Guests: '() Administrivia:         kjchen: I have a feeling this will be a very short meeting                 kjchen: I'm not sure how many people will be on campus over IAP, but there will be an update to the SIPB Covid policy. This probably won't come up until next week since people will need to quarantine when they get back.                 kjchen: One of those changes include not being allowed to eat in the office. Also any meetings we'll be hosting in the office will be counted as a student-sponsored event. Project Reports:         agrebe: There was a discussion last week for the IAP Intro to Terminal class where we figured out the logistics of what we wanted to cover.                 huydai: We also got to talk with Ashay who's going to help us get the lectures that we are doing over IAP recorded and published on OCW/ Youtube.                  markchil: Just to confirm, does it seem like the current plan is that we will be able to do some of these activities in person?                 kjchen: It seems we can still have in-person events, though MIT is encouraging for any event that we can be done virtual to be done virtual. Also we are now not longer allowed to have any kind of food                 agrebe: Can you forward this e-mail so me? I'm a grad student so I get different emails. The most recent ones are fine. It seems MIT has been virtualizing most of its events, but I didn't see anything more than just a nudge towards forcing students/clubs to follow this request.                 kjchen: I can do that         Other:                 markchil: I'm working on putting together materials for the NumPy Cluedump. I wanted to have my Python code on a slide and annotate that with whatever gets printed out. I've been experimenting with the inspect module and creating a tool that uses calls to intercept input and outputs and to help working with Python source code listings. Once I get that working I'll share it with you all. Other Other:         '() The meeting was adjourned at 19:37.         Minutes taken and submitted by huydai.
