Gary Arnold and company wanted funding to maintain a dictionary/translator
on-line for Loglan, a new human-type language. Some very interesting concepts...
(MJH and LFL came in at this point) CBF argued with them for quite some time.
Motion to give them $300. Passed 6-2.

We had a smoke-filled room meeting, but to no avail as few people showed
up and the ones that did didn't know where the right forms were. The
meeting was suspended at this point to re-fill the room with
smoke and make a decision.
