Minutes of the meeting of 2/20/78.

Meeting was called to order at 18:15 (due to the LSC movie).

In attendance:  DCH, KHG, RMP, CAH, CWH, OTA, RDM, DAS, RK, KLE, RLL, Alan, Paul, and
archy.  CRD, LFL, LSP, DLW, and HIC came in late.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Chairman's report:  DCH typed some old minutes!  DCH met with Mort Berlan and a Victor rep.
We got $236 knocked off of the travel charges.  We may be winning reasonably
well.  The ACM meeting was attended by RK.  They elected officers (!) and seem
to be trying to revive it.  (DLW, LSP, HIC, and BEE came in at this point)
We need to make a terminal proposal!  A study will be made in the next week.

Treasurer's report:  $500 has not been deposited in our bank account.

Office report:  The office has an "Office Copy" stamp.  File cabinet drawers
were garbage-collected.  We have HoToGAMIT 1.5.

Comittee report:  The Future Computing Comittee (FCC) met last week.
We need statistics to show that we do not discriminate against non-Course-VI
students.  (LFL came in at this point)

ECS report:  10.14 students have been directed to use ECS if they don't
have a programmable calculator.

APL report:  (CRD came in at this point)  More bugs have been found and
reported.

Telecommunications report:  Student Center terminals are up, Baker's and possibly
MacGregor's are ill.  Epsilon Theta now has their terminal.  We now have 3 amp
fuses.  HIC volunteered to be trained for the post of Telecommunications
Chairman.

Gamerdinger, Harry:  Would like funding to maintain a file of interesting
computer stories on-line.  Deferred until he seeks alternate funding,
either from his department (21) or someone at ITS.

Applications:  $650 autoed, $100 given, $500 rejected, $750 total given.

Roach, J.:  $100 for ground water studies on the 370.  Given.

Garges, K.:  $500 for IBM 370 LISP runs.  Rejected.
