Seems that that's consensus.                  skylarh: I can not make that                  nmorgan: Skill issue                  alwinfy: Just skip class. I also did a quick write-up:          We are looking to host weekly Hands-On meetings.  These are meant to provide a time and space  (1) to work on projects that don't have a scheduled meeting time,  (2) for new members to come, learn, and work on our projects,   (3) to complete administrative or general tasks such as propaganda, emailing, documentation, and improving the website, and  (4) to allow members to better socialize, connect, and discuss ideas with other members not immediately within a particular project's umbrella, and in a context less formal than general meetings.  As a pilot, hands-on will occur twice a week, two hours per session. Members will be strongly encouraged to be present and active at a hands for at least one hour per week. We will coordinate with project leads and post what projects will be worked at a particular hands-on. Therefore, members looking to contribute to a particular project know when to be present.  Of course, a project can always elect to host meeting times aside from hands-on, and projects who do so are not required to be present during a hands-on.                   alwinfy: I think this is a great idea - we have been struggling with onboarding for a while. and it helps keep the office open. having these times blocked out for people to show up would be a very good idea. do we want to pub this? do we want to poster this?                  turino14: propaganda seat is still vacant                   bzelnick (on jitsi): have we ever thought of putting small, unobtrusive announcements on our most visible projects (e.g., Hydrant, CourseRoad), probably towards the bottom of the page, saying that we are looking for new maintainers etc.                   dtemkin: I'm already being replaced
