SIPB Meeting Minutes
			on August 6, 1984

	Meeting called to order on 7:35PM by RF.

In attendance:  RF, Ramin, Bill, Aya, Lee
Applications:

1. MIT BallDance Club---wants money because they lost funding from other
sources.  Given $250.

Chairman's Report:

	The chairman is not here, boo foo woo.

Athena Report:

	RF thinks there is none.  Lee asks a UNIX question to RF. Bill is
calling  the MIT BallDance Club.  


Office Report:
	
	Aya asks if it is okay to buy some plants.  $25.00 for plants.
The vice-chair approves.  Yay!!!!!

Computer Services:

	The chairman is still supposed to get JIS to reset the spendings on
student accounts.  He hasn't.  He is also not here.  RF says 'that's it'.

Telecommunications:

	We have to pick up terminals from PKT and Senior House.  AYa and RF
are going to do it sometime tomorrow or a day after tomorrow, helps needed.
Two terminal came back fixed, one for us, and one for either McGregor or ET.
Fenway's pt is broken.  We are going to give them one of the terminals we pick
up from PKT or Senior House.


R/O:

	Bill and Aya went to see Allen (?) today.  We have to rent vans.
We also need to decide which sites to go to.  Some discussion about whether or
not to include JCF.  Anyway, we will take care of it.  Ramin asks why we are
discussing this now.  R/O publications-- we have the labels.  Hope we start
writing letters tomorrow.  Bill and Aya are looking toward the New SIPB.

RK and Jon walk in .  Jon got the requisition book.

Back to Athena Report:

	Athena change review board is being formed.  Grubbs thinks it's
quite reasonable.  I didn't get the rest.

People who find more than 10 misspelling can laugh at Aya.

Back to Treasurer's Report:

	Where is the treasurer?  Jon is sick of finding out one of the
student project has run out of money.
