Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of Monday Feb third, 1986.


	The meeting was called to order at 1934.2 by RF.
	
	In attendance were 
		Voting members: RF, chariot, hyland, paaaaaaaaat, mer, aya
		Associate members: cathy
		Guests: Adam Kao

	Treasurer's Report:

      Student Spending:  Month-to-date:$    363.05
                         Year-to-date: $ 30,593.65

      SIPB/SIPBADMIN Spending:    MTD: $    143.24
                                  YTD: $ 26,172.10

	Chairman's Report:

He went and talked to Jim Bruce re: spending $$.  We can open up accounts to
undergrads.  We may overrun our budget.  The problem is that creating the
accounts will be a pain for us.  J.  Bruce is not happy about funding athena
output because it costs real money.  We can buy a laser writer, which is
subject to the aproval of those present.  It is granted.  (a new person walks
in.  His name is Adam Kao) People are encouraged to write sofware for the
printer.

	Office Report:

Thanks to paaaaaaaat the office is tidy.  He says we must keep it this way if
we are to get a laser printer.  The documentation chapter of the office manual
is done.  

	Athena Report:

Dave Grubbs was put in W91.  RF's new boss in Dan Geer.

	Computer Services:

Our modems are pseudo set-up but perhaps not quite correctly.  Finally, people
will be able to dial up the their Athena accounts!

	Other Other:

Bill Gimbel, our esteemed vice-chairman has been here this past weekend.

	The meeting was adjourned at 1954.5 EST.
