	The meeting was called to order at 19:30:07 by spooooooooooook.

	Treasurer's Report:
He is slightly sick and he has a cough.

      Student Spending:  Month-to-date: $ 2,580.58
                         Year-to-date:  $29,811.18

      SIPB/SIPBADMIN Spending:    MTD: $    964.39
                                  YTD: $ 26,993.26	

More discussion about what to do with the extra money.  Old ideas are brought
up: open up to undergrads-srz; pay for COD;.  Same objections: pain in the
neck to create all the new accounts [Jim Bruce said to continue limiting
shift 1]; there is not really any faster way to register people if you want to
get and verify the information.

continuing discussion...  Some people lean towards satisfying short term
needs.  Issue of extra money tabled till next meeting.

	Chairman's Report:

Awake thanks to Henry and Mary's (Mary Chung's, that is) ravs.

	Office Report:

Mess exists.  Cleaning required.  Bit of flaming about this.  We ought to
empty unused drawers.  This coming Sat come in to clean up the office or else
something might happen to your stuff.  A cleaning campaign is starting so you
had better clean up after yourself or get stuff thrown out.

Motion to semi-permanently loan to spinwriter to Prof. O'Handley.  We will
talk to him about it.

Office Manual still is not done.  Three chapters have been modified.

	Athena Report:

Read the suggestion box and comment on the topics to be discussed with Athena
next week.  Real discussion tabled until next week.

	Computer Services:

Move to change name of coolie-box to "sipb" or "sipb-projects" the purpose of
which is to say things like "gee the office looks nice", etc.

How are we going to manage the laserwriter?  Must turn it off at night (it's
not supposed to on all night), paper source, toner, etc.  Issue tabled.

If a user comes in with a question about policy, etc., log it in into the
notebook in the cash box.

	Telecommunications Report:

New House was upset about terminals being picked up with only short notice (at
least to the current officers it was short; we notified everyone a year or so
ago).  Henry says you can get a new 1200 baud modem for $200.  Due to red tape
and the purchasing office there are things that we cannot do with our modems
and terminals i.e.  sell them for $50.

Aya wants to resign and someone will talk to Peter about taking resposibility.

W20 needs to be cleaned because the space is usable.  LA36's are going to
Surplus.  Modems lines need checking.  spook, theschun and mer will do this.

Ramblin is much better the Barrelhead.  Ramblin is sweeter.  3 out of four
recommended.  Cokecom is in deep trouble.

It is Gail's birthday today.  It was Jon Rochlis's Birthday yesterday.  For
those young'uns who don't know him, he was chairman before RF.  Happy birthday
to both!
