	The meeting was called to order at 7:37 by The Chair.

	Office Report:

Carla called furniture exchange.  Who wants to go with carla to get some?
ambar does.  We have two new workstations.  Names for these after the meeting.

Tim hand delivered the req for fixing the locked drawer.  That was three weeks
ago when they said "We'll get right on it."

We should probably get jtkohl to refill the used laserwriter cartridges.  BTW
next door has borrowed them a few times...

	Athena Report:

simsong: uus RVD does what it should and will be up tonight.  ambar wants help
with the nntp proposal

Tim and spook will get together with Bryan moser, etc re: liason committee
between athena and students.

	Computer Services:

SIPB_user_1 changed password.

How do we get rid of the spinwriter?  If Cathy Allen gets the serial numbers
and we can take care of Mr. Greek12 then we can give it to Henry at amt.

The person who has the TRS-80 has been located and he still has it so
everything is peachy.

My God, there is an echo in here....

	Telecommunications Report:

We have new network connection stuff.  We need a new ethernet cable (3 feet
for the current office configuration.)

Proposal to sell Mac w/ hyperdrive (fixed) and then sell it.  This is so we
can get a normal one without a hyperdrive which won't keep on breaking.  Also,
we can get it fixed next door from then on.  No one against.

	Publications Report:

We need more NETS.  The Inessential Guides are gone again.  Probably still
need more SIPB policies.

	R/O Report:

Still a ways off.  

	IAP Report:

Bill???  mumblefrotz.  mumble from Stan too.

Proposal: write inessential guide v2.

Some confused freshman want to replace all the unix with VMS.  "Not on my
waterbed," ambar says in response to suggestion to stick pins in said
freshman's eyes.
