Minutes of the SIPB Meeting of July 18, 1988


	The meeting was called to order at 19:38:35 by Rob French
	
	In attendance were

	Treasurer's Report: Treasurer comes back tomorrow.  There
		hasn't been much treasury activity in her absence.
		Kathy Allen called about the account, but no one has
		called her back yet.

	CokeComm Report: Mary will try to remember to put in an order
		tomorrow.

	Chairman's Report: "Still slogging through the thesis" (cheshire)
		"in the	Virginia swamps" (rfrench).

	Office Report: The air conditioning has been working at least
		since Saturday.  Jeff called his contact at Physical
		Plant.  "Jeff is so useful."

	Athena Report: We got a donation from Georgia Tech today.  His
		name is Dany Gindy (?sp).  John has an office mate.

	Computer Services: Mark is starting to begin working on the
		dialup server.  Beacon's modem does not want to be 
		in auto-answer mode at all.

	Telecommunications Report: "Less than a month to go."

	Publications Report: Inessential guides are needed.  They 
		still haven't been done but need to be checked
		and printed before the fall.

	R/O Report: Folder stuffing was successfull.  The SIPB papers
		ran out, but they ran out a lot later than some things.
		Perhaps more folders were stuffed than they originally
		said.

	IAP Report: Still as far as possible from IAP.

	Other: '()

	Other Other: 185 more days of the Insane Anglo War-Lord.

	The meeting was adjourned at 7:50:14.
