	The meeting was called to order at 81.25% of the day by rfrench.

		Ho hum.

		Circles to come.  Aluminum cans to go (SAVE hauled
them away).

		We should follow up on "CAC '90" (committee on

	Office Report:

		Hum ho.

	Athena Report:

		11 was flaking today.  Subnet is ``out of spec.''  

	Computer Services:

		We have the most popular stapler on campus.  A large
number of people come in, dig around for the stapler, use it, and
leave without saying anything.  Stapler is now hidden in the drawer.
We removed the staples from the large stapler since it was tearing
holes in people's reports.  So maybe SIPB should provide chained-down
staplers by all the printers with a little sign saying "this service
supplied by the SIPB."  [sli sjdubois]

	Telecommunications Report:

		Noone has dealt with call preference or extension cords.

		Aaron just answered the phone.

	Publications Report:

		Well-stocked.

		Tomorrow and Wednesday are IAP Planning Review days

	Annual Report Report:

		Hasn't been done since June 1982.  Srz and rfrench
have been looking at old minutes.  The microwave project....

	Other:

		Media Lab zephyr realm is working.

		Middle button can wipe out /usr and usr/local with one
press.

	Other Other:

		``It turns out that Beth Anderson wants consultants to
have hours and be paid.  We are going to try to convince her that she

		Rob went to IHOP twice within a 24-hour period.  He
only eats bacon if it tastes like potato chips.
