		I/S article is still wrong in places...  Final comments
should not change the length or width of the article.  SIPB still
misspelled in the headline, first par., etc...

	Office Report:

		Rob sent mail to Kathy about the temperature flamage.
She'll try dealing with PhysPlant.

	Athena Report:

		Talos was spayed this morning.	[lnp]

		xdm will not be going into the release.

		Backups in Bldg. 11 are happening.  RA90's are being
used for disk-to-disk backups.

	Computer Services:

		jik has a check from MIT to the Amiga Group ($60) for
the TeX site license.  We now need to buy the blank disks and deal...  

		jik has a new version of rrn that he'll be working on.
He'd like a seperate volume to work on it in so he's not too close to
the real sources.  (Keep the betas seperate.)  He needs 4Meg.  rfrench
will deal.

		TUG call for papers is this Friday.

	Telecommunications Report:

		(SIPB Office Phone Report) --- we got extension chords
(thanks to blubaron)  Hooray for freshmen!!!   But we don't have
ringing-line preference.  It's a $60/phone upgrade charge.  There was
some confusion as to whether Kathy had approved this or not.  

	Publications Report:

		Prospectives who are up for membership next week can
prove how useful they are by getting more copies made and picking up
more Athena free docs.  QuickRef, Discuss....  sli volunteers.

	Other:

		Shahid is telnetted in from Germany.  His access is
slower than 1200 baud, but it's Internet....  csmith went to visit
Shahid in G\"ottingen and there was much rioting.  ``And across the

		While testing 6.4, Dan Geer wiped out an entire
directory while using `undelete.'  And Dan Geer sent a message
entirely in capital letters and underlines.

Hall.
