	Treasurer's Report:

Should we renew our Byte subscription? Straw poll seems
to indicate that it would be a kinda good idea to renew it. marc will
deal.

A/V charges $10.50 per day for using an overhead
projector. It is agreed that we should use funny-money (through Kathy
Allen) to pay for all such expenses.

	Chairman's Report:

The "Wither SIPB?" committee should meet soon, hopefully
during IAP. amgreene is willing to help out if bjaspan gets lazy. If
you're interested let one of then know.

Elections on February 4th. Be there!

	Office Report:

		Pitly.

	MIT Computing Report:

7.2 is up to revision p. Code freeze is today.

Big fileservers going down for "Preventive Maintenance"
sometime over the next few weeks. One day per server.

	Computer Services:

Athena is doing inventory check. So cc called to just
make sure that her list checked with what we actually had. It did,
almost. Hotline claims that it removed a 40Meg, *NOT* a 70meg, drive
from Steve-Dallas. They have no record of our having a 70Meg drive.
Also, they said that if we had really had a 70Meg drive, they would have
had to have changed the controller when they changed the drive.

Also, cc thought that we had our PS/2 already. I told
her that we didn't. dkk informs all of us clueless people that they had
already delivered it; they put it in the machine room, where most of us
never go. And no mail was sent out telling us our PS/2 was here. Anyway,
it will be moved into the office after the meeting.

Milo is running Kerberos, has a servtab, has AFS... it's
actually working. GCC and perl... It's almost a real machine?

	Ronald-Ann Backup Report:

warlord is doing the backup... yay!

	Publications Report:

		Well-stocked.

	R/O Report:

		Not for 9 months now...

	IAP Report:

		First day of IAP.

amehta needs help making copies of the handouts for the
C class which starts tomorrow at 10am. dkk volunteers.

		First C++ planning meeting tonight.

	CokeComm Report:

Sunkist is still here. Blergle. bjaspan is trying to
deal.

	Other:

DJR order went in on December 31st. The shirts should be
delivered within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

	Other Other:

hga recuited Chris from University of Maryland. He's
interested in SIPB.
