    introductions happen.  Chaos abounds.  the ViceChair rambles.  Cat
    meows.  Scott talks.  Will this ever end?  Dave talks.  more
    introductions happen.  More introductions don't happen.  whew.

  Office Report:

    It's a *real* *Pit*.  rjbarbal and yandros will have a cleaning
    party soon.  Volunteer.

    xiphmont thinks he can produce a working casette player from our
    two pieces of garbage and $20.  Motion to allocate the funds from
    slush, seconded, disgusted, passed many-0-3.
  
    New machines?  Not until the new hardware comes in, if then.
    Monitor swapping will happen, a VRC16 may appear for cutter,
    shabby volunteers to get a cable for cutter, be really nice to
    kim.

  MIT Computing Report:

    MIT has computers.

    Resnet goes live on the 18 January, I hear.

  Computer Services:
  
    The Continental Cablevision meeting hapened.  They'll start
    offerring some kind of connectivity over the next two months;
    contact warlord for details.  quote ``[it's] not very exciting at
    the current pricing''.

  SIPB AFS Cell Backup Report:

    It's running.  Rosebud's bosserver was unhappy today for while; no
    one knows why.

    We need some pubs.  We have the netnews guide; we don't yet have
    iAthena's - they'll come.

    It snowed.  A lot.  Really.

    The `Real Genius' slide was popular.

    Perl class started.  It meets again tuesday and thursday.

    proven's pthreads class is wednessday, 7-9pm, 2-105  (send him
    mail if you're interested)

  CokeComm Report:

    We have coke.  Da Jerk is not here (see ``Treasurer's Report:'')
    and now he is (see ``Treasurer's Report:'').

    Move the junk out from in front of the CokeCom area.

    Recycling stuff?  Apathy reigns.  dale volunteers.  YAY!

    The Koosh Launcher is happening!!!  Talk to xiphmont for details.
    Eggs and waterballons are expressly DISALLOWED.

    There's a 10-day Assassin's Game going on.  It's excellent.

    There's a blood drive today and wednessday, 10am-4pm, in La Sala.

    There's a `get well' card for Brendan Kehoe, to be sent soon.
