Orientation Report: '() IAP Report: xela: Since we have 20 classes this IAP it seemed to me that just having them in a single list in whatever order would suck. So I've been trying to think of a classification scheme that would divide them into 2 or 3 broad categories, but except for the obvious case of programming languages --- we have classes in seven --- couldn't come up with a good idea. Marc came up with the idea of dividing them into classes for users, classes for developers, and classes for hackers, which I think works. I'd like to take a straw poll on it: Classes for Developers Crash Course in C Caffeinated Crash Course in C Java, from the Ground Up Introduction to Perl Programming in PostScript Rapid GUI Development Using Tcl/Tk Introduction to SAS Programming Language and Procedures SQL and Relational Databases Introduction to UNIX Software Development Software Engineering Workshop Classes for Hackers Advanced Internet Topics Aggressive Debugging Information Attack: Understanding What the Bad Guys are Doing to Your Computer Programming Pthreads Classes for Users Introduction to DocBook Introduction to LaTeX Practical Security through Cryptography Using GNU Emacs, With a Brief Introduction to Emacs LISP What's Athena Good For? (and Why Should I Care?) What and Who Is SIPB?
