SIPB Tour Guide Info

Tour 1:  AI/LCS, Media-lab, ECF, Scheme-lab, SIPB, Fishbowl
Tour 2:  Fishbowl, SIPB, ECF, Scheme-lab, AI/LCS, Media-lab
Tour 3 (Stan):  Media-lab, ECF, Scheme-lab, SIPB, Fishbowl, AI/LCS

Media-lab:

Garden:  Jon Orwant (3rd floor)
VLW:     Klee	    (4th floor)
LEGO/Logo: Fred Martin (301)
Holography: Mike Halazar (3rd floor)

If you have combo, go up to garden, and split groups as necessary.  
If not, call 3-0360, and ask for Pascal, Klee, or Jon Orwant.
Rotate groups through tour sites as necessary.  

AI/LCS:

CAM group: Mark Smith (Basement conference room, NE43-018)
Leg Lab:   Robert Ringrose (Basement, NE43-006)
(??) Mobot Lab: Mark Torrance (9th floor)

Split if necessary between CAM and Leg Lab.

ECF:  Kevin Iga (knock on 38-344)

Scheme-lab: David LaMacchia (knock on 34-501).

Fishbowl:  Chad Brown (try crowding around a workstation, and apologize to
other users)

Notes:

Tours are scheduled so that Scheme-lab is visited mostly around 8-9.

Skip SIPB if time is getting short (sorry, Derek!)

Mobot lab may or may not be shown.

Split into groups of 12 for the Media-lab.  Groups of 20-30 for LCS/AI.

Stan will be traffic cop for 1st media-lab group;  Jennifer will be
traffic cop for subsequent groups.

Try to meet in 6-120 at 10pm or so.  Talk will start at 10:15 or when the
3 groups arrive, whichever is earlier.

Use your head, and be flexible.

Thank the people giving the demos.

Entertain the frosh when going from location to location.
