Use Google calendar to see open slots for meetings
We have three sets of meetings, but no regular classes, to go. Sign up for meetings by emailing your preferences. Half-way point
Dear Class,
Congratulations! This week marks your half-way point through the course. As we saw yesterday there are a number of ways to approach each of your host company's opportunities for improvement. The host companies are looking to have you do an in-depth analysis of at least one topic. Remember this may involve customer interviews, surveys, crunching data. As expected in the first half each group has gone very broad. Now is the time to focus and narrow your research and approach.
For the final presentation please keep in mind that at a minimum, your team must (1) QUANTIFY the primary value proposition of your company, (2) determine the value chain, (3) describe their customer segmentation, (4)determine their primary market, (5) make a suggestion as to which way they should go - this could be good news or bad. The class presentation may look very different than the presentation for your company. However, in order to ensure that you understand the academic content presented in this course, you will have to meet the requisites discussed above.
That being said you should also be able to state clearly the value you have been able to bring to your company. The host company should also understand the value you are bringing to them.
Your progress overall has been excellent. However, there is a lot of work ahead. As we move into many days of "team time", please feel free to reach out to Professor Bohn, or either of us TAs. We are here to help you succeed in your projects :)

Calendar updated to reflect MIT holidays
