Hello all,
In class someone noticed a typo in Question 2 of the exam -- it should read "...increased expression of the genes OF the his operon" (not IF the his operon!). The exam is due by 5 pm on December 17th to a drop box outside of 68-617. Good luck!

problem set correction

Hello,
There's an error in the problem set -- the answer to question 2 should read "The TRANSLATION of A renders the translational start site of B accessible to the ribosome" (not transcription).

Final Exam

Hello all,
Exam 3 will be handed out in class on Wednesday, and will be due on the 17th (I'll leave a drop box outside of 68-623). It is an open-book take-home, but is really meant to take you only 2 hours!. Contrary to what I said in recitation section last Friday, you ARE allowed to use the internet, if that helps you -- however, you should not be talking to other students about the exam.
