Running Firefox on Athena
To run Mozilla Firefox on Athena, you will first need to attach the firefox
locker. This can be done by executing the following command:
athena% add firefox
This will attach the firefox locker to /mit/firefox. To launch Mozilla
Firefox, type:
athena% firefox &
Command Line Options
For a full listing of Firefox's command line options, type the command:
athena% firefox --help
Additional options are availible on Athena:
- --listver
- Lists the versions of Mozilla Firefox that are availible for your particular hardware platform.
- --runver <version>
- Runs the specified version of Mozilla Firefox
