Hi. Thank you for your interest in forming an industry relationship with MIT SWE. There are several ways to establish a relationship with us. 1. GENERAL MEETINGS If you have someone in Boston with something exceptional students should hear, please let us know! Each month we have a speaker at our general meeting, and we are always looking for to bring our members new insights into their lives or careers. 2. MIT SWE SCHOLARSHIPS MIT SWE runs an annual scholarship competition among our membership. We are always ready to pass on the generosity of your company to our members in the name of your business and MIT SWE. (Our competition is judged by MIT faculty, but you could certainly participate or modify this if you choose to sponsor an MIT SWE scholarship). 3. SWE CAREER FAIR BANQUET In the fall, we always host an annual banquet during the Fall Career Fair. Please look for information on this as you register for the career fair next year. 4. MIT SWE HIGH SCHOOL DESIGN COMPETITION Last Spring we kicked off what we hope will be an annual design competition for Boston high schoolers. GM and 3Com were our generous sponsors last year. Our design competition brought 30-40 high school kids in contact with MIT students and professors, and next year's is going to be even bigger and better. We welcome your support. 5. MENTORS If anyone in your company would like to form a mentoring relationship with an MIT SWE member, we may be able to work something out. Let us know! Thanks you very much, Elizabeth Kim and Jen Law Presidents of MIT SWE eliskim@mit.edu, jenlaw@mit.edu
