The most recent sources for diswww are available by anonymous FTP from
sipb.mit.edu in /pub/diswww/diswww.tar.gz.

There are many major improvements to be made, but most of the code
should be fairly stable and usable now. Check INSTALLATION for some
hints on building diswww and getting it to run.

The copyright notice for all the files is in proto.h.

If you are running a gateway, I would appreciate if you let me know
the the platform, compiler and version, and any options you used to
build it, as well as the URL (if it's accessible from the Internet at
large). If you couldn't get it running, I'd like to hear about that,
too.

[If you're using this code for your work on a super-secret weapons
research project, then you shouldn't tell me about it, since it would
make G-men trigger-happy, and make me annoyed at such use of my code. =) ]

There is a mailing list for announcements and discussion of diswww
development. It's intended to be fairly low-volume. The list name is
diswww@mit.edu, and requests for addition/deletion should be sent to
diswww-request@mit.edu.

Any questions, suggestions, bug fixes, flames, fan mail and large
checks (or even ones of normal checkbook format) should be sent to me,
