I am formerly a Graduate Student at MIT in the Department of Ocean Engineering. I actually work for MIT Sea Grant. My research involves "Feature Relative Navigation for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle," which is to say I spend a lot of time at the computer trying to model sonar information.

If you have a lot of time to kill, you can risk reading my thesis proposal or my resume.

I am the keeper of the humor@mit.edu email list. It's content is erratic and uneven, but that's life! Mark Herschberg has been gracious enough to archive old humor messages for those who want to see what they missed.

I am a big fan of science fiction, Whether it be written, film or TV; both high-quality and trash. I have therefore collected a lot of pointers to Science Fiction Web Pages. Give 'em a try!

My favorite hobby is making models: flying, swimming, static - you name it. My current project is a Gee Bee-Z racing plane from the 1930's, for an exhibit in the Massachusetts Historical Society (web page pending).

Check the weather!

Here are some modeling-related sites I have found:

Misc. Useful & Interesting Pages.

I am also a member of the Oneida Indian Tribe, and a native of New Mexico.

I am a big fan of the Babylon 5 TV show and, of course, BMW motorcycles as well.
