I am seeking a teaching position in a kindergarten or first grade
class. I wish to apply my ideas on classroom design and developmental
curriculum to an early elementary grade.

As part of my master's program, I wrote a research paper on the
importance of classroom design to children's learning.  While working at
the Child Care Circuit, I developed curriculum materials for preschool
programs.  I have worked as a head teacher supervising teacher aids and
student teachers.

My experience with preschool and special needs children, with teachers
and child care staff and with families has given me a sensitivity to
children's developmental and individual needs.

Currently I am volunteering in several area area kindergarten classes
(West Concord, Lexington and Hamilton-Wenhaming) and substitute
teaching in Hamilton-Wenham and Middleton.
