Dear J. Winokur:

I am writing in regard to the positions mentioned in your Boston
Globe add of September 10.

I have taught nursery school and special needs classes.  My most
recent job included developing and presenting workshops for child care
providers and teachers on various curriculum topics.  I also developed
curriculum "kits" containing a variety of hands-on materials.  

Since beginning my Masters degree program, I have been pursuing my
interests in curriculum and classroom design.  I was much impressed
with @u[Learning to Read Naturally] by Margaret Jewell and Miles Zintz.
It provides a good model for the acquisition of literacy in the context
of language development.

I would like to take my experience, training and interest and apply
them to an elementary school setting.
