What I'm designing is a sort of two-stage approach: the GUI mapper and a 'compiler', if you will, that generates code for platform X. Since Inform is the only one I feel comfortable with right now, that's what I'm aiming at. However, there (technically) should be no difficulty in creating a module that generates, say, TADS code, instead. Or, for that matter, AGT, HUGO, etc etc etc. > > I guess you can ignore my question above. Mentioning code generation > answers that. I was hoping for a graphical map design similar to > Informapper, but more updated. *one of thes days* Informapper? *web scrounge* Oh. Well, whaddya know. Someone's already gone and done something similar to what I'm envisioning. The idea behind what I'm doing *is*, in fact, graphical map design. First beta will likely *not* include such concepts as, say, doors or one-way passages, but the idea is that eventually I'll get it to the point where the only things it won't recognize are designer-coded events and such... which it'll just ignore. :) Brian Payne sofaspud at sofaspud dot org
