EOP = Executive Office of the President (good guess, Lisa).
As a minor historical note, EOP actually bought a large Multics system in
late 79 (under Jimmy Carter) - they were going to have the world's most
amazing online mail/conferencing/db system. Then, Carter lost the election
and Reagan canceled the contract, it cost the gov't a lot of money to
return the already-delivered-but-not-yet-installed Multics hardware
(about $1 million, I think).
