My part of design doc is still underway (I can't even tell you
when I can finish it), but I decided to distribute what I have
now anyway.

The version of my doc in FrameMaker format lives in

	ceci:/mit/musedev/doc/Publish/toshi.1-21-93.fm

I also put its PostScript version as "toshi.1-21.93.ps" in the
same directory for those who don't have access to the FrameMaker.
(Sigmund, you'll soon receive another e-mail from me...)

I took a brief look at other member's works a couple of days ago
and noticed interfering/conflicting descriptions in them.
For instance, Phil is providing class definitions in
C++ syntax and I did it in ADL syntax. This is very crucial
I think. Another example is that the concept of MetaClass which
was introduced by Jud and Adam very recently would interfere the current
version of Media Support which tries to do a similar thing.
Finally, descriptions on multimedia toolkit library can't be
found in any of our pieces at this point.

Doubtlessly, more questions will arise as we start reading other peoples
work, but among other things, I think the key issue is how (or which
part of) AM2 will combine abstract ADL classes with real implementations,
and in what document should it be described. I think we need to
talk about it when we meet next week.
