CCrruunncchhiiddee hides the global symbols of _o_b_j_e_c_t_-_f_i_l_e such that they are ig-
nored by subsequent runs of the linker, ld(1). Some symbols may be left
visible via the --kk _k_e_e_p_-_s_y_m_b_o_l and --ff _k_e_e_p_-_l_i_s_t_-_f_i_l_e options. The _k_e_e_p_-
_l_i_s_t_-_f_i_l_e must contain a list of symbols to keep visible, one symbol per
line. Note that the C compiler prepends an underscore in front of sym-
bols, so to keep the C function ``foo'' visible, the option ``-k _foo''
     must be used.

CCrruunncchhiiddee is designed as a companion program for crunchgen(1), which au-
tomates the process of creating crunched binaries from multiple component
     programs.
