LEINWEBER INSTITUTES POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS MEETING
MIT | October 21–23, 2026

OPEN THE SITE
Open index.html in any modern browser. The complete site works locally,
including navigation, search and day filters. No installation is needed.

PUBLISH
Upload index.html, fellows.html and the assets/ folder together to any
static website host. Preserve the directory structure. There are no runtime
dependencies, external fonts, remote image requests, analytics or server APIs.
The site has not been published to the internet.

EDIT
The meeting content is in program.json. After editing it, regenerate the
HTML with Python 3:

    python3 build.py

Run that command from this folder, or pass the full path to build.py.
Python's standard library is sufficient. The builder does not need access
to the original Word or Excel files. Styles are in assets/styles.css;
interactive search, filtering and print behavior are in assets/site.js.

To replace a placeholder, add an image under assets/photos/ and set the
fellow's photo field in program.json to:

    {"file": "assets/photos/example.jpg"}

Then run build.py again. Add a "source" URL when the photo came from a public
profile page; that link will appear below the photo.
To update the meeting room text or general page framing, edit build.py.

CONTENT SOURCES
Schedule, speaker names, affiliations and talk titles:
    Leinweber_Itinerary_v2.docx
Abstracts:
    Oct_Leinweber RSVPs.xlsx, RSVPs sheet, rows 4–24
Brandon Rayhaun: title and abstract supplied directly in chat
Logo:
    Supplied CTP-LI image

Affiliations follow the event itinerary. Abbreviations are expanded on the
fellows page. Talk titles follow the itinerary, including Brandon Rayhaun's
title, which is absent from the spreadsheet. Abstracts preserve the supplied
wording and paragraph breaks, with leading/trailing whitespace removed.
Emails, dietary information and RSVP logistics are not included in the site
or program.json. Inbar Savoray appears after the scheduled speakers with
an "Unable to attend" label, an MIT affiliation, and no scheduled talk.

DETAILS STILL TO SUPPLY
- A photo for Jan Boruch, who currently has the only initial placeholder.

PHOTO SOURCES
Seventeen portraits now in the site were supplied directly by the organizer
on October 6, 2026. This includes replacement photos for Mudit Rai,
Hernán Enrique Noriega Barros, and Maxime Gadioux, plus Inbar Savoray's photo
for her additional listing. Pok Man Tam's supplied image is in AVIF format.

These public profile photos are included locally. Each links its source.

ROOM SOURCE
MIT Physics identifies the Pappalardo Community Room as Building 4,
Room 349 (4-349):

The meeting room was supplied by the organizer; the MIT source verifies its
official room number.

VALIDATION
Checked the 32 schedule entries, all 21 schedule-to-profile links,
and all 20 spreadsheet abstracts against the attachments, plus Brandon
Rayhaun's abstract supplied in chat. Browser checks cover
search (including accents), day filtering, reset, empty results, page anchors,
image loading, desktop layout and 320px/390px mobile widths. All content
remains accessible without JavaScript. Abstracts can be collapsed; printing
opens them automatically. The schedule includes print-specific styling.
