Mac Gregor House - C-Entry
Shortcake topped with freshly-made blueberry or strawberry syrup,
flaky baklava, and rich cocoa topped tiramisu are some of the delectable treats
served up at C-Entry late-night gatherings. Are ethnic dishes more to your
liking? C-Entry residents are big fans of Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern,
Cajun, and Caribbean cuisine.
Our living community boasts residents from Kenya, Thailand, Sri Lanka, England
(through the Cambridge-MIT Exchange Program) and all regions of the United
States. In C-Entry residents have many opportunities to unwind through movie
nights, study breaks, and entry outings. We even have big parties once or twice
a term where we invite all our friends over to dance to the latest music played
by cool DJs.
Still, most of our time is spent doing routine activities like studying, working
on problem sets, or cooking (this includes warming up microwaveable entrees).
Each of our six suites has its own way of sharing responsibility for keeping the
common areas clean and tidy to create a pleasant living environment. Our
graduate resident tutor is always willing to give advice or listen to any
concerns. We also have a residential Medlink with loads of health training who
can answer any questions about medical care at MIT as well as provide emergency
medical care at any hour.
