Old Business
     Dining Hall:
         - Draft of report by the MIT Food Service Committee was given out to 
               all entry chairs
           Excerpt: "Two of the goals of the food services should be the - 
               1. fostering of natural daily interactions between students in 
                     a pleasant environment in dining halls, particularly 
                     residential halls where that common dining fosters a 
                     sense of community and an opportunity for interaction 
                     with the housemasters.
               2. provision of balanced nutritional meals combined with an 
                     education to students in the area of healthy dining.
         - Will give the committee the go ahead to look into a dining hall for 
              MacGregor provided that we keep the convenience store and that 
              there is no mandatory meal plan.  We have the option to tell 
              them no to a dining hall at any time however.
     Gender Roles Study Break:
         - Main focus is on "miscommunication" between genders
         - There is role playing type exercises and group discussion which 
              last 2 hours 
         - We would like for there to be between 18 and 20 people; half men 
              and half women
         - There will be sign ups for the study break 
         - Entry chairs and entry tutors will be given more information
     City Year Serve-a-thon:
         - The community service event went very well despite the small 
              turnout (7 people)
         - $150 was raised
         - We will try to do this every year.
     Recycling:
         - Clear plastic bags have been bought
     Athletics Facilities: 
         - Backboards have been bought for the basketball courts-cost is $420.
     Music Room:
         - The piano tuning will be done next week.

New Business
     Club Mac:
         - Is now moved to 7 pm starting this Friday
     Parking: 
         - There are some Parking permits available to MacGregor residents.  
              Cost is $20 for this term.  The permits will allow for parking 
              in the WestGate Lot.
         - Posters were given out to all entry chairs for them to post in 
              their entries in visible areas.
         - Deadline is tomorrow at Midnight.
     Social:
         - There will be a Halloween trick or treating event next Tuesday at 
              MacGregor.  Each entry will go as a group to trick or treat in 
              each of the entries.  One area of each entry will be giving out 
              candy.
         - Scott (E) will be in charge of organizing the event.
         - Each entry will get $15 to spend on candy.  
         - Gave out posters about the party on Friday to all the entry chairs 
              to put up 
         - Entries which do not wish to purchase their own candy can tell Arif 
              (C), the Chair of the MacGregor Committee on Candy Distribution, 
              to purchase candy for them.
     UA:
         - The UA Social Committee will be coming out with the Social Scene 
              starting this Friday
