Safety
  The CP's are available to do a safety study 
break / presentation for MacG.
  CPR courses - one of the House Managers 
(Dan) is willing to teach  a course on CPR. 
It will cost residents $4.50 each. It will be a 
1 day course taught at MacG. Date to be 
decided
Rec. room 
  5 magazines have been ordered. They will 
arrive in 6-8 weeks.
  Printer and Copier paper has been bought.
Recycling
  6 Big barrels for recycling have been 
purchased. There are placed as follows:
  2 near convenience store
  1 near white board at front desk
  1 in the TFL
  and 2 have yet to be placed.
  The Recycling Chairs are willing to get 
Blue recycling bins for entries. If interested 
contact Amy or Krista.
  Posters are being worked on.
Athletics
  IM Hockey and Basket Ball are coming up 
soon.
Music Room
  A metronome will be bought this weekend
Athletic Facilities
  The choice of stair master has been 
narrowed down to 2. One of them costs 
$1249 the other costs $1600. They both 
come with 2 year warranties and cost $50 
for shipping and delivery.
JudComm 
  Jay has yet to visit C, F, G, & J entries.
H-Entry
  H-entry has reserved the ice rink for 
sometime in Nov. This event may become a 
House Social.
Treasurer
  Only Entry Chairs are allowed to fill in 
'blue slips' and turn them into Deb. 
Everyone in the entry including tutors must 
go through their entry chairs to get 
reimbursed.
Dining Hall Committee
  There was a low turn out for the Dining 
Hall meeting. 
  Topics discussed include last years dining 
survey, and what services residents wanted.
Fax
  A line is being installed at desk
  Should there be a charge for use of the fax 
machine ?
 11 For , 0 opposed, 0 abstentions
  There will be a $0.25 charge per page sent 
or received. This amount may be changed 
after we monitor the use for a month.
  Should we allow non-residents the use of 
the fax machine ? (There is no simple way 
to enforce this rule.)
 4 for, 5 opposed, 1 abstention
  Faxes received for non-residents will be 
thrown away.
In house rush
  The data strongly suggest the system is not 
fair. To be discussed next meeting.
