Housing
The In-House-Rush evaluation was revised to include gender into the analysis.
It was found that many more women than men get their top choices, and entries typically have no say
in who lives in their entry.
Given the distribution of male and female rooms, and the fact that some entries are much more
popular than others, there is little room to increase the percentage of people getting their top choices.
Perhaps MacG should return the old system which took into account entry preferences.
The biggest problem is not the algorithm used to determine who lives where, but the uneven
distribution of male and female rooms available.
A new study will be undertaken to determine how happy freshman are with where they live.
